Nanomedicine Lab Students Present at National Conferences in 2022

Graduate students Devleena Das, Daniel Dodd, Jordan Moore, Ana Panic, Lilibeth Ortega-Pineda, Angelica Rincon-Benavides, and Ana Salazar-Puerta, as well as undergraduate student Andrew Gotschall presented their work at the Biomedical Engineering Society and Society for Neuroscience National Conferences.

Graduate students Jordan Moore, Devleena Das, and Ana Panic of the Gallego-Perez Nanomedicine Lab, as well as undergraduate member Andrew Gotschall, presented their work at the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) Annual Meeting in October in San Antonio, Texas. Jordan, Ana, and Andrew presented at poster sessions, while Devleena provided an oral presentation. Also in attendance were graduate members of the Higuita-Castro Nanomedicine Lab Ana Salazar-Puerta, Angelica Rincon-Benavides, and Lilibeth Ortega-Pineda. Lilibeth and Ana provided oral presentations, while Angelica presented at a poster session.


In the month of November, graduate members Daniel Dodd and Jordan Moore attended the Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting in San Diego, California. Daniel provided an oral presentation on his research looking at novel immunotherapeutic approaches in ischemic stroke, while Jordan presented a poster on therapeutic interventions in peripheral nerve injury.
