About Me:

I am a visiting scholar from Colombia studying biology at EAFIT University. I will be working in the DGP lab for a year and a half as an intern to gain research experience. While I was in Colombia, I was working in a research lab studying microorganisms in soil. One of the projects that I was working on focused on the pseudomulticellular behavior of bacteria and the potential of creating a pesticide with these bacterial organisms. Once I finish my internship. I hope to return to the lab to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Engineering! In my free time, I like to street race, read romance novels, and try different desserts.
